Kitchen Tip Tuesdays – Freezing strawberries

A tip to share for Tammy’s Kitchen Tip Tuesdays!

When freezing strawberries; after you have washed and hulled them; lay them out on a cookie sheet and then place in freezer.  Once frozen put into bags and that is it.  Doing it this way the berries don’t stick together and then it is very easy to take just a few of them out of the bag when needed, since they are not frozen together.

  1. This is a great tip, I do my bananas this way and never even thought of doing strawberries like this. Wish I had waited until today to freeze my extra strawberries, then I could have un-stuck ones…..

  2. Looking at all those beautiful red strawberries made me want to go picking some myself..now I just have to find a patch!! 🙂

  3. Thanks! 🙂

I'm planning to freeze up my own mixed veggies, so this tip will be very handy too. 🙂

I love hearing from you!!
