Winter Fun

Today we enjoyed our first sledding of the winter.  We had a pleasant time, although, the snow was hard, since yesterday we had rain and then it turned cold.  But the children had fun and it was neat to watch B. have fun.  Last winter, he was 2 and he needed  help.  Today, he had fun going down himself and bringing up the sled.  He was quite the happy little fellow.

Here we are walking back to the hill.

B. taking a ride to the hill.

The hill and the children
Just a view of the new house.  I thought the sky was pretty with the sun peeking through the clouds.

Our oldest enjoying a rest.

We had a great time and friends had also come over, so that made it even more fun!

  1. That looks like sooo much fun!!! It almost feels like winter here today but it is supposed to be almost hot tomorrow. We actually had the air on a couple of days ago!

  2. It looks like a blast! We're planning on taking our two sledding this afternoon, but my husband has a couple of clients coming in first. Did you all have hot chocolate after? My kids love that almost as much as sledding! God bless.

  3. That looks like a wonderful time sledding. You have a beautiful family and the house looks great. It looks like you are living in it while you build? We did the same thing-what an adventure that is! LOL Holly

  4. Shelby, it would be neat to live where were could have the ac on in January! 🙂 It is a cold week here this week!

No, we didn't have hot chocolate this time, we have done that in the past. That is always yummy!

We are not living in the new house yet, we were just sledding there. We do plan to move in before it is completely done though. 🙂

    Thanks for the comments!
