One of the beautiful lakes we enjoyed while away camping.  We had fun canoeing and swimming here…

What a busy few weeks we have had….  It all started with a camping trip we took with some friends up north to some property they owned there.  ๐Ÿ™‚  We packed up food, water, tents, bedding, canoes and more and spent 5 nights out in the woods.  It was a lovely time and surprisingly the deer/horse flies and mosquitoes stayed under control..  LOL  During the day, they would come and go and at night time we could hear the hum of the mosquitoes outside our tent, but all was well, because they couldn’t get in!   Another blessing we enjoyed is that when we were down by the water, we hardly had any bugs bothering us!

Perfect place to be on a hot day!
Such a happy camper!
Our tent “village”
That little gray/blue tent was our bathroom/shower tent and it worked well.  ๐Ÿ™‚

We also had a “kitchen” tent but it never made it into a picture.  We were glad to have that, it was  place to escape to when the bugs were bad and it also provided shade and a place for the young ones to play in.   Next time we hope to two of those, one for eating in and one for cooking in, it was a bit full when 19 people tried to be in.  Anyway, we had lots of fun and it was a lovely time to get away.  We may go again in the fall.

We came home from this trip and stayed home one day and then we headed off to PA to visit friends.  More coming up soon!  ๐Ÿ™‚
